Is he singing or grumbling because you are near? There are several that make nests at my brother's pond and when I try to get pictures they talk mean to me. The male flies down to the ground and acts like his wing is broken, but if you get close, it heals quickly.
This little one looks as if he is having a great singing time. Very cute.
